Anemarrhena and Phellodendron Decoction

Zhi Bai Di Huang Tang is a classical formula used to nourish Kidney Yin while clearing deficiency Heat. It is primarily indicated in patterns of Kidney Yin deficiency with pronounced empty Heat, where Yin is insufficient to anchor Yang, allowing Heat to flare internally.

This formula is a modification of Liu Wei Di Huang Tang, with the addition of Zhi Mu and Huang Bai to more effectively drain deficiency Fire.
