The original formula focuses on regulating qi while releasing the exterior, making it suitable for external wind-cold with internal qi constraint. It addresses symptoms such as lack of appetite, belching, chest and epigastric distention, and a stifling sensation, often caused when wind-cold obstructs Lung qi and disrupts Spleen and Stomach function. A thin white tongue coating and floating pulse indicate the presence of exterior cold.
