Description
Wen Jing Tang addresses cold obstruction in the Chong and Ren vessels combined with Blood deficiency and mild stasis. Cold impairs circulation in the uterus, while Blood deficiency reduces nourishment, potentially causing menstrual irregularities.
Dang Shen strengthens the middle burner and supports Qi to secure Blood movement. Sheng Jiang and Wu Zhu Yu / Wei Zhu Yu warm the channels and dispel cold. Dang Gui and Bai Shao Yao nourish and harmonize Blood, while Chuan Xiong promotes circulation and alleviates stasis. E Jiao and Mai Dong enrich fluids and Blood, preventing dryness. Mu Dan Pi clears mild deficient heat, Gui Zhi warms the channels and supports Qi movement, Ban Xia (Fa) harmonizes the middle and resolves damp-phlegm, and Gan Cao (Zhi) moderates the formula while supporting Spleen Qi.
Together, these herbs warm without overheating, move Blood without injuring Qi, and nourish without causing stagnation, restoring balance in the uterus and supporting healthy menstrual function.
