PLANT DESCRIPTION

This formula treats generalized blood deficiency and stagnation, primarily affecting the Liver, Penetrating vessel, and Womb. Symptoms include dizziness, blurred vision, pale complexion and nails, muscle weakness, insomnia, palpitations, irregular or scanty menstruation, abdominal pain, and a pale, thin, wiry or choppy pulse. Blood deficiency leads to poor nourishment of the head, eyes, muscles, and nails, while stasis causes pain, masses, restless fetus, or lochioschesis. Deficient blood also affects the spirit, causing restlessness and palpitations.

  • Dang Gui (Angelicae sinensis Radix) , 10g
  • Bai Shao (Paeoniae Radix alba) , 12g
