This is a supplemented formula after combining Shao Yao Gan Cao Tangand Er Zhi Wan(Double Supreme Pill). It is a formula for blood diseases. It has the function to nourish blood and stop bleeding. It is applicable to those with aplastic anemia.

Formula Composition

  • Bai Shao（Radix Paeoniae Alba），15g
  • Gan Cao（Radix Glycyrrhizae），5g
  • Nü Zhen Zi（Fructus Ligustri Lucidi），15g
  • Mo Han Lian（Herba Ecliptae），15g
  • Gou Qi Zi（Fructus Lycii），15g
  • Shan Yao（Rhizoma Dioscoreae），15g
  • E Jiao（Colla Corii Asini），10g
  • Sheng Di Huang（Radix Rehmanniae），15g
  • Mai Men Dong（Radix Ophiopogonis），20g
TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Decoction
Place the medicinals，［except E Jiao］，in 600 mL water and boil until 300 mL remains. Add and dissolve in E Jiao into the decoction. Take the decoction warm，in 2 to 3 doses.

Anemia，as well as low counts of red blood cells，white blood cells，and platelets due to chemotherapy； it can also be used for premature graying of hair and beard，dry and withered hair，and hair loss.

Cautions

If there is abdominal distention and thick tongue coating，remove E Jiao，Sheng Di，and Mai Men Dong.
