Ban Xia Jiang directs rebellious Stomach Qi downward, alleviating nausea, vomiting, and digestive discomfort often accompanying Yin deficiency.
Dang Shen strengthens Qi, supporting fluid production and the middle burner, complementing the Yin-nourishing effect.
Da Zao harmonizes the formula, replenishes Qi, and protects the stomach from dryness or irritation.
Geng Mi reinforces the Stomach, stabilizes digestion, and preserves fluids.
Gan Cao (Sheng) harmonizes the actions of the formula, moistens the throat, and provides mild Qi support.
