Description

This modified version of Qing Shu Yi Qi Tang shifts the focus from purely "clearing fire" to strongly tonifying Qi and resolving the persistent internal dampness that anchors the heat.

Huang Qi and Ren Shen are the Chiefs; they work synergistically to strongly tonify the Spleen and Lung Qi, directly addressing the core fatigue.

Cang Zhu and Bai Zhu act as Deputies; Cang Zhu is more acrid and aggressive at "drying" dampness, while Bai Zhu primarily strengthens the Spleen to prevent dampness from forming.

Mai Men Dong and Wu Wei Zi (forming Sheng Mai San) protect the fluids and essence, preventing the potent Qi and drying herbs from damaging the Yin.

Ge Gen and Sheng Ma act as dynamic "lifters"; they raise the clear Yang, relieve muscle tension, and vent the latent heat upward and outward.

Chen Pi, Qing Pi, and Dang Gui regulate Qi and move Blood, preventing stagnation from the tonics.

Huang Bai and Ze Xie drain the fire and dampness downward through the urine.

Shen Qu is essential for ensuring the Spleen can transform these 15 complex ingredients.

Contraindications

STRICTLY CONTRAINDICATED for Wind-Heat (e.g., acute sore throat, high fever, yellow phlegm).

Avoid in cases of Extreme Yin Deficiency (dry tongue, night sweats) without significant modification, due to the potent drying nature of Cang Zhu and Huang Bai.
