PLANT DESCRIPTION

This pattern arises from Spleen yang deficiency, which fails to transform fluids, leading to thin mucus that accumulates around the diaphragm. This obstruction causes chest and hypochondrial fullness, shortness of breath, watery sputum, and sometimes dizziness or vertigo. A pale, swollen tongue with white coating and a slippery or soggy pulse reflects the Spleen deficiency and the presence of thin mucus.
