This pattern reflects an external wind-cold invasion combined with internal dampness and stagnation. Wind-cold blocks the body’s surface, causing fever, chills, and headache, while internal dampness disrupts the middle burner, leading to chest oppression, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and borborygmus. The blockage of qi movement and dampness results in loss of taste, a white, greasy tongue coating, and a moderate, soggy pulse.
