Description

Fu Ling Yin is an elegant formula that utilizes the strategy of "tonifying to move."

Fu Ling is the Chief; it drains accumulated dampness in the stomach through diuresis and calms the "heart" (epigastrium).

Ren Shen and Bai Zhu tonify the Spleen and Stomach Qi, providing the energy needed for the digestive system to process stagnant fluids.

Zhi Ke and Chen Pi are the Qi regulators; they "open" the chest and epigastrium, transforming phlegm and forcing stagnant Qi to descend.

Sheng Jiang warms the center and helps expel cold fluids, stopping nausea and vomiting.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in cases of Yin Deficiency with dryness (red tongue without coating).

Do not use in cases of Stomach Heat (intense thirst for cold drinks, foul breath).

Use with caution during pregnancy due to the strongly descending nature of Zhi Ke.
