Description

This combined formula functions as a "Internal Regulator." By merging the Chai Hu lineage (which pivots the Qi and clears lingering heat) with the Dang Gui/Shao Yao lineage (which builds Blood and drains Dampness), it addresses the "Three Pillars" of female health: The Liver (Qi), The Heart/Liver (Blood), and the Spleen (Dampness).

Chai Hu & Huang Qin: These pivot the Shao Yang mechanism. They "unstick" stagnant Liver Qi and clear the low-grade heat that often triggers autoimmune flare-ups.

Bai Shao (30g): The very high dose of White Peony is the "anchor" of this formula. It nourishes the Blood, preserves Yin, and calms Liver Wind, effectively "softening" the Liver to relieve pain and spasms.

Dang Gui & Chuan Xiong: These invigorate and nourish the Blood. Chuan Xiong's high dose (15g) ensures that Blood stasis in the pelvic cavity is dispersed.

Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, & Ze Xie: These target the "Dampness" branch. By strengthening the Spleen and leaching out excess fluids, they treat the heavy sensations and bloating common in endocrine imbalances.

Dang Shen, Gan Jiang, & Hong Zao: These protect the "Middle Burner" (the Spleen/Stomach). Gan Jiang is particularly important here to counteract the cold nature of the other herbs and warm the "Uterine Palace."

Contraindications

Not recommended during the early stages of an acute infection (like a heavy flu) or in cases of excessive heat with a deep red tongue and rapid pulse. Because it is highly regulating, it should be used with professional guidance during pregnancy. Consult a practitioner before use.
