DESCRIPTION

Enriches the Lung and Stomach yin, restores fluids (not cloying).
Extinguishes wind and softens and moistens the sinews.
Lung and Stomach dry-heat or yin deficiency patterns with cough, dry throat, irritability, and thirst; invasion of wind-heat with a yin deficient constitution; steaming bone disorder; wasting and thirsting disorder with intense hunger and constipation.
Wind generated by insufficient fluids, leading to pain and spasms in the sinews; dizziness due to internal wind caused by yin deficiency.
