Description
Wu Ling San is designed to treat water accumulation due to Spleen and Kidney Yang deficiency or pathogenic water retention.
Ze Xie drains Kidney water, promoting urination and reducing fluid retention. Fu Ling strengthens the Spleen, leaches dampness, and harmonizes the middle burner. Zhu Ling complements Ze Xie in draining water while supporting Spleen function. Bai Zhu strengthens Spleen Yang and prevents the dispersing herbs from overcooling the middle burner. Gui Zhi warms the Yang, facilitates the movement of protective Qi, and ensures proper flow of fluids throughout the body.
Together, these herbs balance the movement of water, strengthen the Spleen, warm Yang, and resolve edema, addressing both the root and manifestation of dampness and fluid retention.
