Description

Tiao Wei Cheng Qi Tang addresses heat accumulation in the Yang Ming organs, particularly the Stomach and Large Intestine. When heat becomes excessive, it consumes fluids and creates dryness in the bowels, resulting in hard stools and discomfort.

Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) – clears heat and drains accumulation through the bowels, relieving obstruction.

Mang Xiao (Natrii Sulfas) – softens hardness and draws moisture into the intestines to ease elimination.

Gan Cao (Zhi) (Glycyrrhizae Radix preparata) – harmonizes the formula and protects the middle burner, moderating the purgative intensity.

Together, the formula clears internal heat, moistens dryness, and restores proper bowel movement, supporting balanced elimination without excessive depletion.
