Description
This modified Qing Wei San treats Stomach Heat with Yin and Blood deficiency, where excess Heat rises and inflames the teeth, gums, and facial tissues.
Huang Lian is the chief herb, providing bitter-cold action to clear Stomach Fire, reduce swelling, and relieve pain.
Dang Gui nourishes Blood, moistening the tissues of the gums and mouth to prevent dryness and alleviate discomfort.
Sheng Ma disperses upward-rising Heat, directs the formula’s effect to the mouth and face, and helps relieve localized swelling and pain.
Mu Dan Pi clears residual Heat, cools the Blood, and reduces inflammation, supporting tissue recovery and preventing further irritation.
Together, these herbs clear Heat, nourish Blood, disperse swelling, and relieve pain, making the formula effective for Stomach Heat-induced dental and oral issues.
