Description

Liu Jun Zi Tang addresses the cycle of "Deficiency producing Dampness." When the Spleen Qi is too weak to transform fluids, they stagnate and turn into phlegm. This formula treats both the Root (Qi deficiency) and the Branch (Phlegm-Damp).

Ren Shen, Bai Zhu, and Fu Ling form the core "Gentlemen" team to rebuild the Spleen's strength and drain excess water.

Zhi Ban Xia is the powerhouse for drying dampness and descending rebellious Qi (stopping nausea).

Chen Pi (Tangerine Peel) moves the Qi and helps "awaken" the Spleen so the tonifying herbs don't cause further stagnation.

Zhi Gan Cao harmonizes the entire group and provides a gentle Qi boost.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for Yin Deficiency with Heat (dry mouth, red tongue, thirst).

Not for use in cases of Excess Heat or high fever.

Use with caution in cases of severe constipation due to dryness (the formula is very drying).
