Description
Li Zhong Wan treats Spleen and Stomach Yang deficiency with internal cold accumulation. When middle burner Yang is weak, transformation and transportation are impaired, leading to cold accumulation, digestive weakness, and diarrhea.
Gan Jiang is the chief herb. It strongly warms the middle burner and dispels interior cold, restoring digestive fire.
Dang Shen Gently tonifies Spleen and Lung Qi, supports digestion, and helps restore energy in cases of fatigue and weak appetite.
Bai Zhu strengthens the Spleen and dries Dampness, improving digestion and stool formation.
Gan Cao harmonizes the formula and supports Qi tonification.
Together, the formula warms the middle, restores Yang, strengthens the Spleen, and stops diarrhea, making it appropriate for chronic cold-type digestive disorders with deficiency.
