Description
Wen Jing Tang treats cold accumulation in the Chong and Ren vessels with underlying Blood deficiency and mild Blood stasis. Cold obstructs the uterus, impairing circulation, while deficient Blood fails to nourish the channels properly. Over time, this leads to irregular cycles, abdominal pain, and fertility challenges.
Wu Zhu Yu and Gui Zhi are the chief warming herbs. They warm the channels and dispel cold from the uterus, restoring proper circulation.
Dang Gui, Chuan Xiong, and Bai Shao nourish and invigorate Blood, regulating menstruation and relieving pain.
E Jiao and Mai Men Dong nourish Yin and Blood, addressing dryness and low-grade deficiency heat.
Mu Dan Pi clears deficient heat and prevents excessive warming.
Ban Xia harmonizes the Stomach and addresses possible phlegm or stagnation.
Dang Shen, Gan Cao, and Sheng Jiang support Qi, harmonize the middle burner, and integrate the formula.
Together, the formula warms the uterus, nourishes Blood, dispels stasis, and regulates menstruation, making it suitable for complex gynecological patterns involving both cold and deficiency.
