GUI ZHI JIA LONG GU MU LI TANG

Spermatorrhea, wet dreams (in women), lower abdominal pain and contraction, coldness at the tip of the penis, sometimes watery diarrhea, dizziness, palpitations, insomnia, hair loss, and a hollow, slightly tight pulse.

This pattern reflects concurrent deficiency of yin and yang, causing floating of deficient yang above and draining of yin essence below. The disorder arises from overwork, excessive sexual activity, or loss of blood, leading to loss of essence. Deficient yin fails to contain yang, producing false heat above, while deficient yang cannot support yin, leading to coldness below. Symptoms in the lower abdomen and genitals reflect local yin excess, while dizziness, palpitations, insomnia, and dream-disturbed sleep reflect floating yang. Depletion of essence contributes to blood and yin deficiency, manifested as hair loss. The hollow pulse indicates floating yang; slight tightness indicates cold from deficiency.
