This is a supplemented formula of Ge Gen Qin Lian Tang. It is a formula for diabetes. It has the function to clear heat，ascend clear qi，and unblock yang.It is applicable to type 2 diabetes.

Formula Composition

  • Ge Gen（Radix Puerariae），40g
  • Huang Lian（Rhizoma Coptidis），5-15g
  • Huang Qin（Radix Scutellariae），15g
  • [Sheng］ Gan Cao（Radix Glycyrrhizae Cruda），10g
  • [Zhi］ Da Huang（Radix et Rhizoma Rhei Praeparati），10g
  •  Rou Gui（Cortex Cinnamomi），10g

 
TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Decoction
Place the medicinals in 800 mL water and boil until 300 mL remains. Take the decoction warm，in 2 to 3 doses.

Suitable Population
Type 2 Diabetes with thirst，frequent hunger，fatigue，and copious sweating； possibly accompanied with arrhythmia，as well as abnormal blood pressure，blood lipids，and blood viscosity.

Cautions
