PLANT DESCRIPTION

Fang Ji is an acrid, bitter, and cold herb that disperses wind and eliminates dampness. It promotes urination to relieve edema and pain caused by cold-damp obstruction, alleviates joint and muscle pain, especially in the lower body. It is effective for edema, rheumatoid arthritis, and pain due to damp-cold obstruction. Use with caution in cases of yin or blood deficiency, and it is contraindicated during pregnancy.
