PLANT DESCRIPTION

Binds the Intestines, stops diarrhea. Contains the blood, stops bleeding. Promotes healing of wounds. Chronic diarrhea due to yang deficiency, or chronic dysenteric disorders with mucus and blood in stool. Excessive menses or uterine bleeding, blood in stool, or prolapsed rectum due to cold from deficiency. Non-healing ulcers or damp sores (topically).
